Welcome to CPI. We believe in the power of being genuine – and that also applies to how we handle your privacy. C.P.I. Governance B.V. (hereinafter “CPI”, “we” or “us”), located at the Arena 300, 1213 NW in Hilversum, and registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 342.240.65, is responsible for processing personal data as shown in this privacy statement.
This document consists of two parts: the Privacy Policy and the Disclaimer.

Part 1: Privacy policy

CPI respects the privacy of all visitors to its website (meetcpi.com), its (potential) customers and relations. We ensure that any personal information you provide to us is treated confidentially and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Personal data we process

We process personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide this data to us yourself. For example, when you complete a contact form, download a white paper or register for an event, we may ask for your first and last name, company name, email address and phone number.

When you sign up for our newsletter (CPI NWS), we store your contact details in our email system (Apsis). Data from (potential) customers and relations is stored and managed in our CRM system (Efficy) for the purposes of our services and relationship management.

In addition, we collect anonymised data about your browsing behaviour on our website, such as the duration of your visit and the pages you view.

For what purpose and on what legal basis we process personal data

CPI processes your personal data for various purposes. Firstly, to perform our services, such as contacting you after a request via the contact form. Secondly, for our relationship management, for which we store data in our Efficy CRM.

Thirdly, for marketing and communication. This includes sending our newsletters (CPI NWS) and invitations for events, for which you have explicitly registered. The legal basis for this is your consent, and you can unsubscribe at any time via the link at the bottom of each email.

Fourthly, for analysing and improving our website, based on our legitimate interest. Finally, we process data to comply with our legal and administrative obligations.

Sharing personal data with third parties

CPI never sells your data to third parties. We only share your data with third parties (“processors”) when this is necessary to execute our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. With companies that process your data on our behalf, we conclude a processing agreement to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality.

Our main processors are our hosting partner (Twize) for technical maintenance, our CRM system (Efficy) for relationship management, our email marketing provider (Apsis) for newsletters, and Google Analytics for anonymised website analysis.

Cookies, or similar technologies

A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, tablet or smartphone during your first visit to this website. We use functional cookies that are technically necessary for the proper functioning of the website.
In addition, we use analytical cookies from Google Analytics to analyse how visitors use the website. The data we collect is anonymised (the last octet of your IP address is masked) and is not shared with Google for other services.
Marketing cookies, for example from third parties such as LinkedIn (LinkedIn Insight Tag), are only placed with your explicit consent to make advertisements more relevant. You can change your preferences for cookies at any time via the cookie settings on our website.

Data retention

CPI does not retain your personal data longer than strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data was collected. Data provided via a contact form is kept as long as necessary for the full handling of your request. Data for the newsletter is retained until you unsubscribe. Analytical data is stored for a maximum of 26 months.

Security of personal data

We take the protection of your data seriously and implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification. Our website uses a secure SSL connection.

Your rights (GDPR)

You have the right to access, correct or (have) your personal data deleted. You also have the right to withdraw any consent for data processing or object to the processing of your personal data by CPI.

You can send a request for access, correction, deletion or transfer of your personal data or a request to withdraw your consent to [privacy@meetcpi.com]. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks.
CPI would also like to point out that you have the option to lodge a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

Changes to the privacy policy

We reserve the right to make changes to this privacy policy. Changes will be published on our website. It is advisable to consult this policy regularly so that you are aware of these changes.
